Cervecería Aleros is a brewery inspired by El Salvador’s culture and natural beauty that required rebranding and packaging design. Based in Vancouver’s Kitsilano Beach, the brand now stands out in a saturated craft beer market through a vibrant, culturally grounded identity that evokes exploration. The design draws from traditional American tattoo art, reimagined with Salvadoran motifs and bold, colorful compositions to convey authenticity, adventure, and craftsmanship. Aleros targets craft beer enthusiasts and culturally curious consumers through packaging, coasters, and promotional materials in Vancouver’s coastal community.

Aleros is a word commonly used in El Salvador and is usually used in a casual environment. An alero is one that will always say yes and be by your side. The national bird of El Salvador is known to be a species that always
comes in pairs and when you spot one, it is certain that another one is close by. This is why we have gone with the name and philosophy of Aleros.
The logo features a wordmark solution which has been modified to make Aleros unique and special. The A & R have been stylized to imitate the tail of the national bird found in El Salvador. The wordmark has been done in a
way that it encompasses and frames the rest of the letters and creates a solid and bold logo.
